The Swiss federal legislation in respect of the acquisition of real estates by persons living abroad provides several restrictions to such acquisition of property rights and/or rights assimilated to, for persons living abroad: either the persons without any right of settlement in Switzerland (condition being: swiss nationalty or C permit), or, EU or EFTA Member States nationals with no legal and effective domicile in Switzerland.
